Aaok Karratha Caravan Park

It is basic and utilitarian with lots of workers there and it is a busy place. People were generally nice, staff are helpful and they will let you move if you find a site you like better just go and ask them e.g. if you want to move away from a toilet block or dump point. Sites are also wide enough to park next to your trailer pretty easily. Showers, toilets etc were old but clean with lots of them. Despite some poorer reviews they do help a lot of people out who may get stuck in town with broken down cars waiting up to weeks for repairs. I was greatful to be offered a spot on no notice which we were then able to extend for a couple of days and travel around the area. No other place in town could or would help out like that.

Not great if you are looking for a quiet caravan park. Situated in the light industrial area, lots of workers based there getting up and leaving early, truck traffic, and staff starting early on the park maintenance. Amenities were tired. Girl on reception seemed overworked. We had a tent which had to sit right alongside the neighbouring caravan waste water hose outlet as there were no proper drains.

Great little spot! Buffet is insanely good!! Friday night seafood nights is the best Showers could do with a clean.. Great location, plenty of grass, dog friendly, reasonably priced!! Food drinks: Buffet is amazing, hats off to the chefs! Rooms: 4 Service: 5 Location: 4
