I ordered a hamburger with cheese, egg, and bacon, but they tried to sell me a bacon and egg roll instead. Eventually, I found the Aussie Burger on the menu and decided to go with that. It cost $16 for the burger and an additional $4 for a small side of chips. Given that price, I was expecting something decent, especially considering the inflated costs in Karratha. Unfortunately, my expectations were dashed when I received a poorly made burger. For $16, I got just one slice of bacon, a single slice of processed cheese, chunky pieces of carrot, an egg, a meat patty, and some lettuce—no sauce at all. The meat patty tasted more like cheap sausage meat, so I ended up taking it out. Looking back, I definitely should have followed the lead of the other diners who left while I was waiting.
Absolutely do not eat here—it's terrible. Zero stars! I wish I could upload a photo to show you. The fish and chips were inedible. I paid $18 for a dried, shriveled piece of fish and cold, unseasoned chips. This is as bad as stealing, in my opinion!
I really enjoyed the sweet noodle dish (even though it was served in a bowl). The service at the front counter wasn't great, but the cook delivered the food with a big smile. It took about 10-15 minutes to wait, but the meal was definitely worth it.
Two clowns in a bottle? Why?
Good fishing and chips
