Just Be - Karsiyaka

I visited a few months ago and they served amazing food. I hope they will open someday in the future.

This is by far the best vegan place in Izmir, it is really central (5 minutes walk to the Bostanli Ferry Station) and has delicious meals, fair prices and the warmest welcome by the couple, the place, the complete candy, passionate to cook vegan food. The place is really simply decorated, I was told it 's related to the claim to make vegan food without doing any attitude of anything else. I would really recommend Lahmacun, it is really delicious and the best imitation I have seen so far. The cheesecake is also a star. Once we discussed the couple in detail, I also admired their commitment not to replace meat with the simplest soy substitute, but a variety of beans as a basis to make the menu healthy and diverse at the same time. Vegan restaurants - apart from the delicious Mezzen in Meyhanes - is still a novelty in Izmir, so I really applaud this place for their innovative and passionate nature of existing.

We had a lahmacun (a kind of Turkish pizza). My Turkish partner said it was exactly as it tastes in its traditional meat form. We also had a vegan bowl to share and it was also very nice. To drink we had a vegan Ayran (a Turkish yogurt drink) and a peach tea, and both were excellent. We were owners of the man and woman who were very pleasant and helpful.

I've been there twice in the last month or 1.5 months. The first time I went, I tried a falafel burrito cheesecake cool lime latte. The second time I went, I tried hamburgers. The portions are full and hearty. It's delicious. It is also a very sweet business and the owners of the café and the working gentleman are very friendly and lovely people. This place is amazing! The owner has been vegan for 10 years! She only speaks a tiny bit of English but you can still tell that she’s a really nice person the cheesecake is amazing so definitely order that.
