Taverna Akrogiali - Kaspakas

This was our second time visiting the island and our hosts recommended the tavern to us (I wanted to eat fish, my husband preferred meat). At first we were a bit skeptical because hardly anyone was sitting there, but gradually the restaurant filled up. It's nice and cozy to sit outside with a view of the sea. There is even a children's corner to play. The service was quick, friendly and very attentive. But the food was a hit! It started with Dolmadakia a poem! I'm actually not a fan of the dish but they were so incredibly tasty that I was really impressed. I had ordered fish and was first escorted into the kitchen and personally advised by the waiter and chef and was allowed to choose a fish directly in the kitchen. The food was very well prepared and both my husband and I really enjoyed it. The Akrogiali really surprised us and we went there several times. We will definitely stop there several times on our next visit in summer 24 and are already looking forward to it. A huge compliment to this great team there in this beautiful tavern Kid friendliness: Many families with children, very child friendly, there is a small play area right on the corner

The Kontosouvli was not edible....I informed the owner and despite that he charged it normally...out of 5 stars we dropped to 2.. Food: 2 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Very cozy place, cozy music, cozy staff the food was quite average, good drinks. The food was served in less than 5 minutes after ordering, so fear a little microwave Food: 3 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4
