Contribuisci feedback“Saaaag times, don’t you want to invite me to eat again?” was a question of my life at the end of a phone call last week, and it’s probably also Greek this time. the next visit was in kassel. I found here at gg the restaurant ambrosia in the district wesertor, with which the farmer and Lilli727 had good experiences. sohnemann had agreed immediately with my proposal (mother finally pays!; . when we arrived at the restaurant at 18.00 a.m., some guests were already there. we had not reserved, but that was not a problem. the friendly, young man in the service (son of the house, hit us a two table that we also accept, and also quickly brought the menu. We knew what we wanted to drink, we could order immediately: for me with car a soft beer (0.33 for 2,40 € and a crystal white for my sohn (0.5 olive for 3,40 €). But why a coca cola cooler houses wine bottles in a corner, does not reveal me completely. on the table pretty tee lighter, a high vase with one or two red tulips at the edge, red paper serviettes (his slightly thin, that looks good. what I didn't like at all, but were the covered knives and forks that have a bite level and now do not fit the ambiente. the two courses came after matching waiting times. the cream was beautifully dressed, wonderfully creamy, but could have been a bit more powerful for us. the grown Ziabatta broth was fresh, but it would have been a bit roasted. which was served shortly before the application of the main dish and as Lilli272 already mentioned, the components were crisp and fresh, but unfortunately with a finished sauce, a slightly reddish French dressing that did not taste me particularly. the “fish fillet” on my fish plate was of seaweed, perfectly fried, perfectly seasoned, not too much garlic, delicious. also the other components of the plate were able to convince: delicate Calamari rings with the tuber end piece, crisp zucchini slices, in the pan roasted thick salt potatoes slices, creamy zazikis, a grilled sampi. I had expected at least two because on the map stood “Scampis”, but overall a well-rounded Mediterranean farm I can recommend. also my sohn was very satisfied with its eating, delicate meat, strong aroma, the pommes frites outside crisp, inside soft, a delicious metaxa sauce that was originally forgotten, but then immediately after delivery. only the ayvar was not sharp enough. we also liked that the dishes, especially with meat, were not overloaded, the quantities were well portioned and one was really fed by the offered. the service was not quite as exemplary today as Lilli272 felt it. consistently nice, friendly and accommodating, also with asking, but on the one hand the metaxa sauce was forgotten, on the other hand the young man could not answer my question about the type of supplements and the fish fillet, but had to put himself in the kitchen afterwards. the plv I felt suitable for the quality offered. Conclusion: cozy ambiente, tasty eating, friendly service, sitting in summer, clear recommendation!
