We discovered Canezees donuts initially at a local coffee shop. While they have a nice flavor, they are essentially just cakes in the shape of donuts. The following day, we visited the actual Canezees bakery and were somewhat disappointed. They only offered take-away options, and each donut was individually wrapped in plastic (which is wasteful, but common in Japan). These donuts are decent, but not exceptional. If you come across them at a coffee shop, it's worth trying one, but it's not necessary to make a special trip to the Canezees bakery.
I discovered their delicious donuts being sold in various shops throughout Fukuoka.
I was seeing off a friend at the airport and found these doughnuts being sold, later learning that they are from this shop. It was reasonably priced, and convenient to be found at the airport. Although it wasn't very tasty as I have a huge sweet tooth, it was healthier than regular fried doughnuts possibly more fitting for people who prefer milder tastes.
I visited here on 17-Jun-2017. The vegan options are great. I had the Coco and the Nuts with fruits.
