Church Side Restuarant - Katakeri

Outstanding food quality and taste. Located in the heart of the city is this bar and restaurant with a lodging facility attached to it. The prices were reasonable. Only thing that bothered was the potion size which was too less compared to what a normal restuarant offers. The staff was friendly and the service was quick and prompt. There is a smoking and non smoking section. A seperate section for families. They have open parking space inside. Would surely recommend mainly for the taste and quality of food.

I was recommended this place about 3 years ago, and I was not disappointed with this place. I was so impressed with this restaurant, I left a review on the food I had and most importantly my experience. I tried the same 3 things I had Ghee Rice, Chicken Curry, Pork Fry, on the menu after 3 years. It tasted just as good as the first time I had. The quality and taste was very consistent, and this is something a lot of restaurants struggle with these days. Many restaurants cut corners in quality by reducing the whole spices in some of the dishes, especially Ghee Rice. But this one was full of whole spices, just the perfect amount really coming to think of it. The menu may look slightly on the expensive side when compared to the ambience of the restaurant. But it is pretty good value for money, as the quantity is quite large. Roughly it will work out to around Rs200 per person. They have small family cubicles if you prefer to go as a a family and prefer reasonable privacy. The restaurant is very clean and the waiting staff wearing clean uniform speaks a lot about the importance the management gives towards overall cleanliness. I must admit, the waiting staff were all pleasant. There is ample parking at the restaurant and with a security guard, so your car is safe while you are inside the restaurant. This place for sure is becoming my local haunt everytime I'm passing by Madikeri. You should give this place a try. I'm sure you won't be disappointed!!

This is bar and restaurant in Kodagu. We went there for lunch. Taste was very good they have local coorgi dishes and reasonably priced. There is no separation of smoking area which is not good It has a blend of vintage and new age look. Comfortable seating and clean place

It is really a good restaurant. Here Pork Chilly is very Good. I loved it. Good Interior Design. Food service is good and Price is quite expensive not that much. But You will Like this place.

Must visit restaurant in Madikeri if you want to experience local cuisine and dishes. Pandi curry(pork masala) and akki roti(veg), nuputtu(veg) are dishes to order. There's a separate place for family as it's a restaurant bar. You should ask for the server named Karthik. He's fluent in English and Hindi and is lighting quick to get your orders. Kudos to this hotel after their revamp.
