Sometimes you have to go to Kathmandu to be great Thai food. This was a very pleasant place.

Good food, staff and prices made me happy. Thai flavors, had the Tom Kha Kai and chickens Cashew, everything was as expected, very delicious.

The restaurant is located opposite Bakes Cakes in Durbar Marg, is small but stylish, whose economical decoration and casual lighting put the emphasis on food instead of style. Upon arrival, we decided on the seating area that has plenty of upholstery and a beautiful view of the lively King’s Way. The waiter quickly brought us refreshing damp towels, a custom I had noticed during my trip to Thailand last year, and one I think the rest of the world should immediately accept. The menu is extensive with short descriptions. If you are not familiar with Thai food, you might want to brush on Google before visiting to avoid a long consultation. This unpretentious place overlooking Durbar Marg is a good choice for authentic Thai foods. The starters include Squid Salat and Som tam thai (young papaya and dried shrimp salad), the curries are creamy and the Tom kha ghai (chicken coconut milk soup) is served in a hotpot large enough for two.
