Amazing food. Service was perfect. He explained the menu with so much heart. We ordered dal bhat, newari, Momos and chatamari. This is my favorite chatamari all over Nepal. All other dishes were lovely. One of our best meals.

Here is a place known for its authenticity and this reputation is fully deserved! This establishment is located in the heart of Thamel, which is the popular tourist area of every good traveler in Nepal through Kathmandu. You enter a real traditional Nepalese house with up to two floors under the ceiling with rooms that are as interesting as each other. On the first floor there is a classic room with small tables, but above all a balcony overlooking the courtyard where you can sit. Above this level, still the typical traditional stairs, you can reach another room with sofa and coffee table. Higher above, there is a single large room where woven mats wait sensitive mount customers or customers looking for originality. Finally, the attic completes the accommodation, but is not intended for the public in the immediate future. A real, uncanny and authentic house! But the courtyard, even if it is furnished with modern tables, is still decorated with plants and you notice on the walls various ornaments such as masks or kites. But above all, the service lies in the quality of the dishes you will find there. The prices are right. And in the pure Newar tradition you will be offered the small flight of the home alcohol!

More sophisticated than most places in the area, yet prices are very good. Most people go to taste the mutton but I had the vegetarian menu and it was outstanding. Service is very good and staff was attentive.
