Z Cafe - Kathmandu

After several recommendations from different people we decided to try Roadhouse Cafe. The pizza was incredibly delicious and the perfect farewell dinner after Trekking in the Himalayas. The crust was fluffy and soft, but thin in the middle. The fried chicken on the menu was less U.S. fraught chicken and more Japanese, karaage-esque. The loaded potato skins were beautiful and crispy, but no spices. The loaded potato skins also lacked the fried beans that indicated the menu. Service was excellent. Very polite and attentive. They also had a beautiful outdoor terrace in the back.

Love the food quality here! Caesar Salat is probably the best I had compared to other western restaurants in Thamel. Fish chips are just nice. Wood-fired pizza is also a good choice here. Sizzling Brownie with ice is a must! Cool relaxing atmosphere I enjoyed a lot, friendly staff. Overall, the price is really worthwhile. I came here several times for lunch and dinner. Come back!

The Roadhouse Café is a must for anyone visiting Thamel Kathmandu. The best dinning experience, incredible food, warm cozy ambience and ever smiling service... are just a reason why you have to visit Roadhouse. You have a good choice of menu and also have good options for vegetarians. I have French fries chatpata, tortilla chips with salsa, agriturismo pizza, wine, pina colada cocktail and sizzling brownie with icecream and New York cheesecake. New York cheesecake and Agriturismo Pizza is the best I ever had and a real food gasm. 3 times I visited Nepal I have always made it a point to experience dinning in the roadhouse and has never been disappointed and will continue to visit.

I liked the atmosphere here. Always busy and mostly by tourists. I tried french fries for the first time, but I saw that everyone ordered pizza. So, the next time I had pizza there and I loved it.

Good western place in the middle of Thamel; came here 3 years ago as well and the food keeps the same good quality! prices are a bit high though. Good place to change local flavours after some days eating the same
