Contribuisci feedbackThe experience was great, the location is beautiful for drinks and food. The lack of crowds makes it a bit quiet, but I definitely recommend this place to everyone.
The outdoor seating is in a perfect setting with a live guitarist creating a lovely atmosphere. The service was good and the menu options were excellent.
We went to the Cafe Del Mar for a Sunday Brunch. The first impression was Wow . What a nice venue. Service, food and drinks are fabulous. The location is really gorgeous. Please take note that you have to make a reservation (at least for the Sunday Brunch). You also have to know that it is very expensive. But you know that before.
The tone was set immediately when we arrived at our destination Xmas party for our family and board members, with the impeccable service and food put together by this culinary establishment, lead by Exec Chef Garfield Angove. Often we find restaurants and food destinations don’t live up to a holistic experience of food and service that goes beyond just a “get food out” experience so it was a very pleasant surprise to be here this Christmas. Particularly when the restaurant has so much goodness in its ambience that allows for children freedom to be children, while maintaining quality for adults. It is no wonder our experience has been so positive, though, as seeing how involved and detail driven Exec Chef Garfield is with the front of house experience as much as back of house.
The service was very bad, the food (when they eventually got the order right and the food finally arrived) was not good at all, the cocktails were not good either, and the wine was terrible. Altogether a bad experience!
