Pomegranate - Katoomba

We had to wait around 10 minutes to get a seat which was fine as we got coffees while we were waiting. The Menu clearly states "it is not fast food. It is Homemade food made as fast as possible". We waited around 35 minutes for food. But it is well worth it. If your in a hurry, or in a bad mood like the lady behind us who whinged after 20 minutes, it is not for you. Relaxed atmosphere, Good coffee, Great food. My Husband had the big breakfast which was fine, like any other big breakfast, I had the Magic Mushrooms which were excellent. Probably not for big groups.

We always pop in for a meal when we visit the blue mountains ! The service is great and the food is awesome. This place is the place to go to if you're looking for a great cafe !

Free range scrambled eggs on sourdough bread was amazing. Great selection of breakfast items and speciality juices. I really enjoyed the "recovery" juice- apple, orange, carrot and ginger. Something I would not usually order but I am glad that I did. Table service and pleasant staff could not be faulted.

I found it when I was walking in the morning before waiting for one of the day tours, just decided to give it a go: I had the Magic Mushrooms, which is a vegetarian dish, with pecorino, pistachio and rocket salad, it was just beautiful and in a really cozy and nice environment :)

We came across Pomegranate on the first morning of our weekend away, and enjoyed it so much that we returned the next day. Speedy, friendly service with beautifully presented and tasting food. Would definitely recommend.
