I was excited to try their spicy vegan miso soup, but they took it off the menu. So, I ended up ordering the shoyu ramen. The soup was overly salty and lacked umami, so I had to add in tea to improve the flavor. The noodles tasted like they were store-bought. The grilled shiitake mushrooms that came with it were not seasoned well. I also ordered the Japanese purple yam pancake, which tasted stale and frozen, like it was thrown into the oven. However, their kimchi was really good. The seaweed salad, menma, and other toppings were average. They have some vegan yakitori and tempura options that I didn't try, but overall, as a ramen restaurant, it's a pass for me. I am grateful for the food, though.
On the bright side, the kimchi was really good. The seaweed salad and Menma-Otta toppings were average. They offer some vegan yakitori tempura options that I didn't try, but overall, as a ramen restaurant, it was a pass for me. I appreciate the effort put into the food, though.
This is the best ramen in town! I drive three hours just to come to Aji for their delicious ramen. The staff is friendly, and the restaurant has a clean and comfortable atmosphere. It will always be my favorite spot! My go-to dish is the chicken skewer ramen. I highly recommend it! Food: 5/5.
