Drix Restaurant & Lounge - Katy

Our experience at the restaurant was fantastic and the food was top-notch! Although we were informed that they no longer take reservations through OpenTable, they had enough room for our group. I hope I can still earn my dining points, even though they are not part of the program. Thank you.

Unfortunately, I have to say that the service at Drix is extremely poor. It wasn't the waitress's fault, but rather the kitchen's. Half of our group had to wait 30 minutes for their food after the first half had already been served. They even forgot to bring food for one of our children and didn't seem to care despite our repeated requests. I had to personally go into the kitchen to inquire about it. The manager then came to our table and was impolite. The owner apologized and expressed his remorse, but mentioned there was nothing he could do. It is truly disheartening to witness a restaurant I have been loyal to for years deteriorate in quality like this.

Upon arrival for our reservation, we were not greeted or seated, and the strong smell of cleaning supplies filled the air. Despite a few patrons at the bar and in a corner booth, there was no sign of any staff members. After waiting five minutes past our reservation time, we made the decision to leave.

Obviously great choice of wine, or at least said. also on the top beer selection good. really enjoy their food, especially the flat brote. only a large practical place to fall for a bite and a bee.
