I went to KABOB KORNER in KATY today...took my parents for dinner...the menu they showed me had different prices than wht they charged!!!...which is wrong! When confronted he said this is why we insist ppl to use QR code as it has updated price ..which is not justified tbh! This is cheating! They should NOT have shown me the menu with old prices! Big difference!!! Karhai chicken $8.95- on the menu I saw and $13 price what they charged Bihari kebab $11.95 on the menu I saw.. $13 what they charged!! Tandoori chicken(half) $16.95 on the menu...they charged $18! At the counter there was a guy named ASAD, I told him I was given a menu with different prices and you made a bill charging me so high! Which is unfair!! And wrong.. He said oh those are the old prices and that 's why we tell whoever comes to use the QR code! Well not everyone uses QR code, my parents don 't!!(imagine if they had come alone)..tht is why I had asked the server for a proper menu card.. His reply was that we have only one menu with updated prices and if we change all the menus it will cost us $7000 ...thats none of my business!! Not my problem!!! What 's wrong is wrong!! As a customer service, you have cheated me! You guys are supposed to give out the right prices to avoid any confusion!!Change all the menus, give out the correct prices(what you will charge so the customer knows exactly what he 's paying for) when I said all this He was like for one mistake you will blame us? ..ofcourse who else should I blame!!! I told him please don 't mislead ur customers next time ...if it was some other customer in my place they would not even pay for quoting wrong prices and charging high! He replies oh I will have the same reply for other customers if they have this issue!! Wow! You don 't want to accept ur mistake!! Instead of being sorry you 're saying oh I will tell my other customers the same! Well, fix your menus!!! Cheating customers like this is wrong wrong wrong!! They are smart people!!!! Where is the customer care? It 's not about the mistake, we all make mistakes but being firm on it not realizing..and arguing will not make wrong right! I am not going there anymore ? I would like to warn you guys PLEASE check prices and what they charge EVERYTIME you go!! BE VERY CAREFUL?? And instead of being apologetic he is firm on his wrong behavior! What a shame! I have paid ofcourse but suggesting you all to be cautious!!?? Don 't want you to be a victim! Please guide me what further action I can take against them as I am new here.. Thanks! Nice Mediterranean restaurant that you can find Pakistani/Indian cuisine as well. I got kifta kabab, that come with rice and lentil soup. The kifta kabab was not great but not bad either, an average kifta. The lentil soup was a little spicy and pretty good. The restaurant looked pretty clean and staff were very friendly.
Kabob Korner used to be my go to spot for quick Mediterranean food but the last few time I ordered takeout, the portion size and quality of the food went down as the cost went up. Pretty disappointing for a almost $20 lunch. Going to look for a new spot.
I decided to stop by and try this place out! I ordered the beef kabob platter and an order of rice and roasted tomatoes and onions with Mediterranean tabouli salad. I drank a mango lassi. Delicious
The food was delicious ?, what will make me not to go back was the service. We were waiting to be seated and none want came, we proceed to play our order in the take out service and the cashier told us to seat,we waited about 5 min it feels like an hour) the staff about 5) were talking)finally we place our order in the take out and waited, we refill our drinks and then waitress show up. This place was no busy, anyway the food was delicious ?
