Let me begin by saying that the rice is absolutely delightful. Unfortunately, many of the other negative comments ring true. The tables were not clean, and the service was notably slow, even when the restaurant wasn't busy. As for the shrimp, it was mostly batter—about 95%!

We also waited about ten minutes before anyone greeted us at our table. I eventually had to get up and ask the hostess about our server. On a positive note, the young man who served us was friendly and pleasant, but sadly, that wasn't enough to redeem the meal.

It was my first time dining there, and I had a great experience! Jay was fantastic and very friendly. I really enjoyed their Chicken Rice. I will definitely be returning. As for parking, there is plenty of free parking available.

ADDED after the owner 's response : On the plus side, somebody actually read and responded to my review. On the negative side Really? You obviously put a template response (why would I go back after this experience? and to make this even worse you didn 't even read your own response, because you repeated every single word twice. It might look like a long response, but actually you just repeated the rehearsed statement again. Not really paying attention to this customer 's legitimate complaints and observations. Really lame.ORIGINAL REVIEW BELOW :Ordered shrimp fish plate. Both were undercooked the fish especially. Couldn 't get my waitress 's attention so I finally stopped another one. She sent a third person to take the plate back. Then a fourth person came to ask how everything was... After another long wait, my food was brought out on separate plates rice bowl ... I asked for lemons got limes....There was no kind of tarter sauce or red sauce for the fish or shrimp. I asked for both...got the red sauce. The salad was room temperature. I was there over an hour was really disappointed in the quality of the food and lack of service. Not the same Mambo 's I remembered from when they first opened . Paid the bill left I doubt I will go back. I do not recommend this place.
