This restaurant offers a unique concept—a family-owned pasta factory and eatery. The decor is clean, bright, and cheerful. Both their pasta and sauces are excellent, rivaling the high-end Italian places in town without the extra costs. I tried the fettuccine with pesto sauce, and it was the best and most authentic I've had outside of Italy. It’s a bit of a drive for us, but we'll definitely become regulars, especially since they sell packaged pasta and sauces for cooking at home.

If you haven't tried homemade pasta before, this is a great place to give it a go. They serve a generous portion of sauce, which is decent but not particularly memorable. The bread leaves much to be desired, and the garlic bread seems like it's just frozen breadsticks with garlic rub. The latte is fine, but nothing special. The atmosphere inside isn't ideal for a date, although they do offer real glasses and silverware. On the plus side, there's a drive-thru, which is convenient if you're looking to pick up some fresh pasta to enjoy at home without the hassle of cooking.

I frequently go to Montanari because the food is freshly made from scratch in-house. The taste is wonderful and service is amazing! If you like pesto, ask for the DIEGONARI
