The food is really good. It's very clean and nice. But if you don't look like the clientele, they will brush you to the side and take other people's order. I needed three more donuts but they didn't think my order was worth their time. Bottom line, food good, service poor.
Love it here! Best bing su spot in Houston. There are other places that serve this type of food but nobody comes close to the flavor and consistency and texture of the ice here. They also have events and pop-ups occasionally which is fun and awesome. I'm not sure if the staff changed or something but there was a big man that was usually at the register and he was always friendly and remembered me and my sister and made good conversation and helped us with understanding languages with Vietnamese from some other products we got from the tea shop next door. The tayakis are cute and tasty and this would be a perfect spot for a date or to hang out with friends or really anything.
It's not that bold and bright once u enter, but the food is quite delightful and they do have a couple different options from their availability. I went with my parents and it wasn't quite busy or loud but definitely an enjoyable time and they also had different sauces to choose from for the Korean Corn Dogs (don't know what their actually called, sorry) Their mochinuts are delicious and definitely recommend. I do recommend going in the early afternoon because I went towards the end and they were out of quite a few bingsu options, but the original red bean one will always be a classic for sure. Highly recommend for a quiet, relaxing, enjoyable gathering for family or friends who prefer the more quiet side of life.
Amazing food. Super friendly people. First time coming here. Tried the potato corn dogs korean style with the dusting of sugar on top. And the strawberry cheesecake Bing su. I REALLY recomend the Bing su on hot days. The Bing Su is shaved ice, condensed milk, and then topping choice. The strawberry cheesecake one had strawberries cheesecake bites and ice cream.
