I said at the bar to the breakfast and got a tipp from the bartender who changed my perspective on omelettes. he recommended to have it a little more grilled to give the upper layer a little crispy and I could not be satisfied with the result! has I mentioned the Hasch-Braun-Caserole? this is a complete game changer for hathbrowns. I'll be back in any case!
This is my favorite places. the majority of the times when eating here is usually always good. eating always tastes fresh and it is very tasteful. today my huh was a bit dry and I didn't finish it. it rarely happens to be unsatisfactory. I'm going back.
Beautiful place with annoying reservation system. I was on the waiting list but didn't know I had to check in after the arrival, so I didn't sit around 20 minutes after the arrival. everything was fresh and cooked to my joy. soft pork without fat is actually hard to get in the, but the chefs have it right. the eggs were seasoned well and the speck was crispy.
Service was super and fast. wait a bit when I entered, I didn't care. we ordered the shrimp and burrs and the cookies and gravy, in any case add the 2 dollar eggs. I liked that they came to ask for our order instead of making it and hoping that it was what I ordered. the only thing I'd say would be their floors. can be dried soap or something like that, but they remain on each step. then our beaker was slightly outgoing juice. other than that, will return again.
We tried The Toasted Yolk for the first time today. We were lucky enough to arrive Saturday just before it got really busy. The service was friendly and prompt. The staff wore masks and the place was clean. I ordered the shrimp-n-grits. They were delicious. Really flavorful. The grits were perfectly cooked. Perfect ratio of cheesyness and butter. Nice sized shrimp. And I loved the fried tortillas served with it. Now my husband ordered the Pork Chop Breakfast with grits. He wasn't thrilled with his porkchops because he said they were over cooked to the point if being dry. So we will go back another day and order some other things from the menu. The menu options are plentiful and all sound appealing. I look forward to trying it again.
