Sundown Deli - Kaunakakai

Open only for lunch (10-2 weekdays and slightly longer on Saturdays). Very friendly service, decent cold sandwiches. The shop is tiny and operates at Molokai speed but the sandwiches are made fresh to order. There is no oven, everything there is prepped cold or microwaved but there are fresh cakes and cookies baked elsewhere and brought in daily. Worth a stop to pick up a bite on the way to a hike or day trip.

Sandwich perfection. Went here on my 3rd and final day on molakai. Wish I had visited day 1 because I would have tried every thing on the menu. Had the blt w/avocado and tuna sandwich. So delicious. Maybe the best sandwiches I've ever eaten. The oat bread was perfect compliment to the crispy bacon and thinly sliced avocado. The tuna sandwich was topped with yummy sprouts and green lettuce and cucumber. They do have coffee/mochas and open early so go here if u want a breakkie sandwich (the other coffee place in town was sold out of everything and coffee wasn't the best). They are very nice and have a cute place to boot!

Small (2x2 tops), cozy, cute deli, serving made on demand cold and hot sandwiches, and saimin. I had a hot turkey sandwich on a croissant that was excellent. My wife had a cup of saimin which was ono (delicious). The staff is friendly, the food was reasonably priced, and I recommend this if you find yourself hungry as you walk Kaunakakai town.

YUMMY. Custom-made sandwiches to your ultimate Delight.! Service with a beautiful smile! Really good food. And just flat-out a good place to grab a bite to eat cuz it's good!
