Overall a positive experience. The ambiance is great with nice posters related to Hinduism all over the place. We ordered the Kofta, Tomato stew and Bengali subzi. The food was very light and healthy. But I feel a little better taste can be achieved. Kofta was the best among these. The only minus was that this place had no 'Chai ' or Indian tea option. A lot of people asked for it, but what we got in return was a weird, tasteless brown liquid with lot of herbal ingredients floating on top. I request the owner to take note of this and introduce traditional Indian tea.
Nice food, all vegetarian options and decent prices. Eggplant had too much ketchup tho.
Bland tasting food, almost tasteless (they gave forgotten all Indian spices), preecokked in the morning and served from the microwave. If you want Indian food, go to a proper Indian restaurant. The food is practically cold, certainly not hot when served. The so called big portions (slightly more expensive) will keep you still hungry.
Oh, my God, I love this place!! As a vegetarian it was very difficult to find good veggie food during my trip to Lithuania, but this place I was allowed to eat several times. I ordered the slice and eggplant curry, which was delicious, sweet, thick and served with perfectly cooked rice. The **** was a real treat, the ginger inside tasted so fresh, possibly the best tail I ever had! Staff are very friendly and speak English. Prices are cheap! Will definitely be back to try more delicacies on the menu.
