I thoroughly enjoy Indian food. The Butter Chicken was excellent, the chickpeas were amazing, and the lamb was decent, a bit dry but still tasty. The naan bread met expectations. The coating on the white fish could have been lighter, but the fish itself was very good, fresh and tasty. The price of 12.95 was reasonable, including soda, coffee, and tea. The service was good. I had a chat with the chef and his spinach was deliciously creamy. Overall, a great Indian restaurant experience - remember the chutney!
The food at this restaurant is really impressive, especially the naan bread which is one of the best we've ever had. The atmosphere is clean and a bit more upscale than your typical Indian restaurant. While it may be a bit more expensive than average, the quality of the food definitely justifies the price.
Normally OK chicken dishes, but avoid other meat dishes. This time the lamb chops had probably been cooked day or two before and the result was inedible even for me who normally cleans the plate. Naan bread is also not freshly made. On phone order they even missed one portion! Won't be going back even if the selection in Kauniainen is limited.
Very nice atmosphere and excellent food! Ample space between tables. Kind service. It took a while to be served but we took it as a positive sign that food was freshly done. One of the best Indian food in the Helsinki area! Pram wheelchair friendly. Free parking in front of the restaurant.
