Torisei - Kawagoe

Spacious place for lunch. The aal set lunch is just delicious. Probably the highlight of the visit to Kawagoe.

A private cherry blossom with delicious traditional meal during the Sakura season! All Japanese stands are in front of the courtyard garden, where Koi fish swim, so you have a special look guarente. The friendly servers carry all authentic kimonos and the food set is not only beautifully presented, but also tasteful. If you leave at 11:00, there's no waiting time. I was here on Saturday and it took about 1 hour until we had our table. It is a kind of classic Japanese restaurant with traditional Japanese menu. The staff is very friendly and helpful. You also have a complete English menu. My friend and I ordered "Kamameshi Set", a Japanese rice pilaf served in an iron pot. We both ordered the Muschelpilafs. It really tasted great and since it was served in an iron pot, the Pilaf remained warm until we finished eating. What is so unforgettable is the breathtaking view of the Japanese garden that can be enjoyed during the meal. Overall, it is the best Japanese restaurant with a quiet affordable price!

This place was a pleasant surprise. It was a quaint and peaceful dining area with a cute little outdoor garden from our dining view. The wait was about 20 mins and another 20 25 mins for the meal we chose but worth the wait.

Yummy Kamameshi Lunch Set. Takes 25 minutes for preparation but it's totally worth it. They have English menu too.
