A&W Restaurant - Kawartha Lakes

I arrived at 10:35 to have breakfast at this restaurant. There was only one other customer ahead of me, who also ordered the breakfast special. Otherwise, the place was empty. After waiting for more than 15 minutes, my order finally arrived. The fried eggs and bacon were cold, instead of hash browns I was served French fries, and instead of sausage links I received a meat patty. The toast was also soggy. I used to eat at this restaurant before the pandemic, and this was my first time returning since. There were five employees working - one at the counter and four in the kitchen. Only one car went through the drive-thru before me, and a few others came after. It seems like the service here should be busier than it actually is. This was not the experience I was expecting from this restaurant.

Since 23 years come and it's time for a makeover, the gips is old and cracking, the wood cladding in chipped and missing color, it's just showing it's old. no complain about eating or the personal, just the decor.

For lunch and the service was terrible! Not only did they screw up my order, but also my men. we ordered mozzarella burger and they gave us two simple burgers. it took 15 minutes to get our order, and not just it was. our order, which was screwed there other people come to fix there also ordering. I would never go back here.

Ordered three combos and paid 41 dollars for cold two-rings and watered root beer. had no root beer taste. the personal has so heavy accents that I cannot understand them. last time in this restaurant! a real disappointment!

I had a disappointing experience at the A&W restaurant in Lindsay. Despite there being only 2 cars ahead of me, it took 18 minutes to be served after I ordered drinks that were not marked. When I expressed to the server that I am diabetic and needed to know which was Diet Coke and which was regular Root Beer, they didn't know and ended up giving me the wrong drink. Unfortunately, due to COVID-19 restrictions, I couldn't drink it. To make matters worse, the food was cold and the burgers I ordered without cheese had most of the cheese picked off, indicating they may have given me an old leftover order. I have been a loyal customer of A&W for over 50 years, but I will never go back to the Lindsay location again.
