Contribuisci feedbackThis michelin bib Gourmand-rated esserei is specialized in anago (traditional congereale) not the sweet water unagi. they both dive and take them away. expect a very long waiting period and close them between midday and evening meal. if they don't have time, they'll be safe and buy their takeaway anagi reel. they will not be disappointed.
Wow. we've migrated from curiosity here, but we've been lucky to get sitting right now. it seems normal to be a place they want to book before. great Anago courts. they can choose how they cook their aale, with different sizes. ordered a design beer served in a ceramic cup that was a nice change. beer also comes with a lateral shoulder piece.
Best anago with rice experience I've ever had!! From amazing aromatic dashi broth to the herbs they use to cook saltwater eel with can definitely recommend!
One of my fave Japanese cuisine, Anago(conger eel) restaurant with authentic unique method. My recommendation is Nakabako Ainose with Ochazuke broth which grilled steamed pieces come on rice in a mid box, later you can enjoy Ochazuke
Absolutely amazing little traditional restaurant. I stopped there for dinner, so I didn’t need to deal with long line outside. I got double Anago over rice and Special Chirashi. Both are absolutely lovely. Don’t get confused with Unagi cuz it taste different. I honestly liked Chirashi better than their signature Anago box. It contains different sashimi and veggies on top of Anago and very well flavored. Good spot to stop by if you are in Nohombashi area.
