Kona Grill House - Kealakekua

I absolutely adore places like this! They offer fantastic food and a great variety considering the size of the restaurant. I tried several types of poke and a crab cake, all of which were delicious. My family enjoyed their dishes as well. It's a simple spot, without any pretentiousness. I would definitely visit again!

I ordered the fresh catch of the day along with macaroni salad, and it was absolutely delightful! It's a true taste of Hawaiian comfort food.

The woman suggested we eat here because the reviews were positive. When we arrived, the place resembled a bait shop, and we had to wait a long time for parking in the rain. She ordered a poke bowl, and I opted for the catch of the day, though they didn't even tell us what that was. However, it turned out to be the best fish I've ever had on the Big Island. It was absolutely worth the wait! We even tried to return before heading back to the mainland, but they closed early. The woman mentioned that her poke bowl was just as good as the well-known poke places, but my catch of the day was possibly the best fish I've ever tasted. (By the way, all the fish and food we had in Kona were really impressive, so calling it the best is no small feat. Thank you!)

Staff are very nice and will help you patiently if you are not familiar with their menu. The food is good, we had Hawaiian poke, lobster burgers and chocolate macademia cakes. All are delicious and delicious. They don't make interior seats, but they have benches and table outside that you can use. They have no comfort room, but they have a handwashing station inside and a porter John in the parking lot.

This is the best meal I've had on Big Island! We had the sampler poke platter (4 pokes and the lobster crab cake. Our favorite was the salmon poke, so fresh and well seasoned. The lobster crab cake was THE BOMB. We had to return the same day for seconds! Service was excellent, very friendly staff : would highly recommend!
