O'z Kitchen - Kealakekua

WOW! This is some of the best local food on the island. We took the tour to the top of the mountain then went over to O’z Kitchen. Ordered every item over two days and had an absolute blast. The quality and quantity is just right for the price, the staff are like family, and the atmosphere is amazing. It is outside and does sell out quick so make sure to get there before 1PM.

Awesome!! This is a food truck with a decent sized parking area and a few picnic tables under a shade. We actually got out and ate at one of the tables, but it looked like most people were taking it to go. There was a steady stream of patrons the entire time we were there. This was one of our favorite meals on the island.We got the pork katsu plate, which was amazing. But my favorite part was the dessert. We got shave ice and an ube taiyaki. LOVED the ube taiyaki. I have been telling everyone I know about it. It was SO SO SO tasty and made to order, so the filling was perfectly warm and smooth.

Delicious place to stop for lunch and nice to sit outside and eat. Very friendly staff.

Don’t let the “food truck” vibe put you off, the chicken and tempura were both outstanding!
