When travelling across the wide brown land, I tend to stop at a lot of bakeries.
Food is tasty, but it's incredibly annoying and bad business not to display prices.
We've always made this our first rest break on the trip from Adelaide to Melbourne but after our most recent visit we might look elsewhere. While there is free instant tea and coffee available, a great initiative, the "barista" coffee was our choice this time with a sweet treat from the bakery. My coffee was undrinkable. It was supposed to be half strength but there was no discernable difference between my order and my partner's. The 2 coffees, 3 small slices and a $2 coke cost $30! Maybe stick to the free tea.
Went to this cafe on what seemed an extremely busy public holiday. Large assortment of pies and premise sandwiches on offer. Judging by the queues it must be popular. Perfectly suitable food on offer, good quick service and a kitschy shop area for old rock n roll collectibles.
