The photo that PaulTJ809 put on this monastery gift says everything! At Schönweetter, hell goes in the area of the monastery complex right next to the entrance to the magnificent monastery church. The story came into my mind when Jesus drove the dealers out of the temple. But the church also needs financing.... OK! In the Klosterhof there is a kiosk and below the toilet area, which is accessible via a long staircase. Barrier-free, but I have explained under the recommendations, as disabled people are explained on request to a more remote disabled toilet. Among some trees and numerous parasols, hundreds of guests are made and zoomed. A 6th Tragerl monastery beer, depending on the variety between 8.50 and 9.50 €. I get the Kasten Weltenburger 20 Fl. at home on the beverage market for approx. 14,90 €! The dishes offered were not only cheap. A salad plate 6,50 €, a pig roast 11,40€, a pigeon for 14,90 € a Topp Haxe I have a few days ago at the Wirtshaus Kratzmühle, Kinding for 10,90 €, half dark beer 3,90 €! So no haxe, the other dishes and drinks we ordered. The two beers came right away. The herbal salad to the pork roast was also delivered quickly. But when I took the salad to the main dish, it stood in the bright sun until the roasts and the salad plate of my wife were delivered. Tastefully, my frying was very good three slices of roast meat with edge piece and crust, with two rubs of dumplings and the herbal salad unfortunately only on average 08/15 dressing. My wife's salad plate was disappointing! Only leaf salads without something with a very tightly dimensioned boring dressing; Price € 6.50 NEPP and this in a monastery gift! The female service personnel were all older semesters; at the table a sticker who is responsible here, the name tags of the operators are only legible if they are right in front of you when they stood! Under the long-term stress they were exposed to, you can't talk about real goodness... We were only saturated with good food that it was at that time, but already! Um 11 Uhr ist die freie Platzwahl noch möglich, aber egal die Bedienung ist auch bei vollem Lokal schnell, freundlich und berät Gäste, welche sich mit bayrischen Schmankerln auf der Karte nicht zurechtfinden. Über das Bier in dieser Brauerei braucht man nicht viel zu sagen, vollmundig, süffig, einfach gut. Die Küche bringt frische Gerichte zum Tisch und es schmeckt vorzüglich.

This is a great place to visit. I did this as a tour of the Danube gorge and the abbey. The church is magnificent to see. It's very beautiful. We had the beer that is brewed there and it was great. I would recommend seeing it. Trying to find the beer locally as I really enjoyed it!

Über das Kloster Weltenburg muss man nicht viel schreiben. Der Biergarten der Klosterschänke ist klassisch, mit schönen großen Bäumen und guter Bayerischer Küche. Service ist top! Nicht verpassen!
