Riviera Bullen Und Bären - Kelheim

My partner and I have already eaten at this restaurant a few years ago, it was absolutely fantastic back then so we decided to visit again for dinner and we heard that a new owner took over this establishment. We had no reservation yet we decided to try it out again for the 2nd time. We were told to first disinfect our hands before entering and we were told to fill out our names and phone numbers directly at the entrance before being seated. The restaurant was empty and there was only 1 table with 2 people seated. I told my partner that this seems odd that we were treated like trash yet we followed the waitress to our table and I mentioned that it’s a very unfriendly and unprofessional atmosphere, an older woman sitting at the bar I’m guessing this is the new owner), snapped back at me in a very rude voice that it’s not unfriendly and gave me a dirty look, maybe she had a problem with the way I was dressed or something, not sure what her problem was?? I told my partner that we should just leave because we were treated like trash and we will find another restaurant to dine at with friendlier service. I noticed that the bar was a bit dirty on the surface and wasn’t cleaned, I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone. Pity actually, it used to be such a cool hangout with the previous owner.
