Had a great and unique foodie experience today at Chicken and Watermelon Fool. Derrick and his team were fun, funny and informative. The food was Phenomenal. 3 cheese Mac and cheese The muffuletta , thought we were in Nola, spot on. Shrimp chica Boom Boom was just zesty enough and a good flavorful adventure. The fried watermelon was our first time experiencing, the sauce was delicious. Derrick generously treated us to one of his Buttercup Brownies, WoW chocolate Fudge nirvana. Thanks Derrick for moving your great and unique culinary experience to North Richland Hills.

A must try: Louisiana creole awesome eating. Local (now) owner/operator Derrick from Nola, good convo while waiting for food. Shrimp Grits, Etouffee Wingz ordered; sampled some homemade chicken salad. Each item extremely delicious. You'll want to order big! Fresh, great flavor, just right. Check them out, I recommend will absolutely go back for more. PS: Look for logo to find the location!

First time getting a legit roast beef poboy outside of New Orleans. The owner is cooking everything from scratch. My friend had the shrimp and grits and called it 'heaven on a plate '

Went here and ate Saturday night Derek was awesome, and the food was great! Great family friendly environment. We ordered the grilled watermelon, the mac n cheese, and the boom boom shrimp all of which were AMAZING. Went to the bar afterwards for a drink, and it was a very relaxed and friendly environment. Definitely will be coming back ASAP.

This place has been permanatly closed at this location since last year. Great food is still here at Manny G's Patio Bar and Grill. All homemade food fresh daily. Huge burgers with great prices.
