However, my wife and I were not concerned about the ambiance, just the quality of the food, which we found to be excellent. We arrived early and enjoyed our wine and appetizers at a leisurely pace. The ginger soy chicken appetizer was delicious. My wife's seafood pasta was full of fresh seafood and she thoroughly enjoyed it. I opted for the Arctic char and it was cooked perfectly. We decided to skip dessert as we were already satisfied. The service was top-notch and our server had a great sense of humor. The restaurant may not be extravagant, but it should be! Parking is available at the hotel where the restaurant is located and they provide a newspaper to place on your dashboard. Give it a try, you won't be disappointed.
We had a table reserved for 4 people, which was great! This was our second time dining here. Two people in our group ordered the halibut with fries. Unfortunately, the fries were overcooked. We asked for a new batch for both parties and they brought them out right away, but they still weren't cooked properly (they were overcooked again, but not as bad as the first batch). The chef needs to learn how to cook fries properly so they don't end up overcooked. Overall, we were a bit disappointed as we had guests visiting from out of town.
The food was fantastic, although I can't recall exactly what my wife ordered for me as I had already enjoyed a few drinks. The recommendations from Denissa at the front desk were spot on.
Despite no reservation, Emir warmly welcomed us and found a place for us on the terrace. Mei, our efficient waitress, was friendly and attentive. Our food had generous portions and was fresh, tasty and quite expensive. After our meal was over, Emir came by on our request and gave us some wonderful travel tips.
I organized a group event for their happy hour ordered 2 caesars, each of which cost me $20 before taxes. $50 for 2 drinks?!?! i also spoke w/the manager, he said too bad, these are the prices. there are many other better options in...kelown, don’t waste ur money.
