We shared the Stuffed Mini Yorkshires (Yorkshire, Beef, horseradish and gravy,) Spinach and Artichoke Dip (Naan Bread and Tortilla Chips,) and th e Poutine ( Fresh cut Fries, Gravy, and Cheese Curds) and 2 pints of beer. Less than $30 for all. Came out full and very content with the selection we made and especially the price!
The 3 of us were trying to decide where to go for lunch and were standing outside Doc's, a woman in the patio area told us the food was good and they had a $5 menu. We gave it a try and the $5 menu did not disappoint! The sides are only $2 so what's not to love. The pulled pork sandwich was tasty, my friend loved her Veggie burger and the size of the chicken breast was quite large on the chicken sandwich! Drink specials were good too....will definitely be back!
Visited on a Friday and it is definitely a hot spot for younger people to go out on the weekend!
I have never written a bad review before about a place but after this weekend I feel the need to have this addressed. Unfortunately this place has some of the Rudest staff I have ever met. The waitress Emily started off being rude with us because she was busy. Later in the evening she walked by and dropped a glass on my friends foot and walked off without even stopping to see if my friend was ok. When I went to bring it to her attention and ask for something to clean her foot with and a bandaid she swore at me and told me she was too busy to deal with our problems. I spoke with another waitress and the manager and no one seemed to care that a customer was injured on their property. She had glass in her foot and there was blood on the floor before anyone decided to help. It's too bad because we were enjoying our night there. We all understand accidents happen, but there is absolutely no reason for staff to treat customer's with such little respect and to swear at them when they are asking them to acknowledge an accident in their place of business. By far Emily was the worst one, but the other staff could have stood up to the plate and offered assistance
