The taste is ok, but it's so tiny portion, even for me who normally can take half of a standard North America portion, also the small dishes they offer is also tiny with two choices only. But the price is not any cheaper than other restaurants. I tried to talk to the owner of the restaurant, response I got: "I have opened this restaurant for 6 years, and I have never heard anyone complaining". It can be very true, because there are only 2 tables (mine included) in peak lunch hours.

We had udon soup, a couple sushi rolls, edamame and some assorted appetizers - it was all nicely done and prepared quickly. Stopped in for lunch on Friday and really enjoyed the spicy beef stew. Very filling and lots of flavours at an economical price. Staff were very nice and accommodated all of my questions as I am a bit of a newb to Korean Cuisine. Location was very clean and the food came out with a ticket time of 8 minutes at 12:45. From a first visit I will venture to say it was mostly scratch made and worth visiting again. Definitely worth trying out.

Searched TripAdvisor and came up with the top 5 in the city. The first one we hit was overbooked with people waiting outside. The second one was Gueng. Critics were over the top. We showed up hungry near the closure hour. The owner open its door and told us not to worry. The food was up to the expectations, great Korean cuisine. No fuss, no noise, a bit of disco music from the 80ies. Highly recommended.
