Contribuisci feedbackWe tried this restaurant as recommended by a German couple staying in the same hotel as us in Kemmern. The front girl who was taking orders at the restaurant was very friendly. We asked her to pick for us a few different meals that are typical for the region, and she did a wonderful choice. All the dishes were freshly cooked, yummy and the meat was done to perfection. The prices are very affordable. The portions are hearty for the price. We very much enjoyed our dinner in the garden of this cute restaurant.
When I was a kid my aunt, grandmother and I came to Leicht many Sundays to eat their Sauerbraten , a sweet and sour marinated beef roast with potato dumplings and red cabbage. During a recent visit to Germany with my husband, my aunt surprised us with lunch at our old favorite place. Astonishingly the Sauerbraten tasted exactly as it had nearly 40 years ago, absolutely delicious! The portions were generous, the meat was of very good quality and the dumplings and red cabbage were still freshly home made, exactly as I remembered. There was no table service at the outdoor seating area, we placed the order at a window (the staff was very pleasant! and picked it up once it was ready. It was wonderful to see that everything was still as outstanding as ever.
Rude waitstaff, crazy cyclists and the food and beer really isn’t the best also be careful there is a road going through the middle of the dining area. I was nearly run offer by a crazy cyclist. Better go somewhere else, like Diller Keller, there the staff also is way more friendly.
