Hard Stones Grill - Kemptville

Definitely recommend the pasta dishes, they are generous, well priced and delicious. Nice decor, good service and pricing is good as well.

My family and I went in for dinner. Started out strange. We got there early and walked by over a dozen empty tables to the far back of the restaurant as you can go where nobody else was sitting. We finally got served ordered our food, drinks for the kids and 2 beer. The salad came with the wrong dressing and took forever for someone to come change it. No apology. Then we never saw someone again. The table full of teenagers were served water and pop multiple times and never a visit to our table. Would have loved to order another beer and pay more but didn't get the opportunity. Finally waitress comes with 1 to go container for both kids meals (spaghetti and pizza in 1 container I guess). Absolutely HORRIBLE service and mediocre food at best. I'd say we won't be back.

On a return visit, we dropped by for brunch and ordered Eggs Benedict. They came perfect, hot and delicious! Had not thought of brunch here before but will put it on the places to go now!

Stopped into Kemptville just off the 416 on our way to ottawa for the weekend. Its a great stopover place on the way to ottawa and a good choice. We met Katsia the owner who quietly checks on each table to make sure that everything is ok with your meal. Her and her husband have 3 locations and are independently owned. Our waitress was Julia and she was quite attentive. We all had the soup of the day which was pea soup, it was great and you could tell it was homemade.I was shocked when i ordered the Hard Stones burger and saw how big it was. OMG be hungry when you go there. The food was great. Thank you team Hard Stones, keep up the great food & service.

Went again for breakfast. The coffee csme very quickly. Ordered the single pancake with added blueberries. It was a meal in itself -very good with a reasonable amount of blueberries mixed into the batter. Served with a very good table syrup. Will order it again.
