Maggie's General Store - Kenai

I discovered this store while having a meal at a nearby restaurant, and to my delight, they had exactly what I was searching for - vegan ginger shoes! There were several other items that caught my eye, including products, snacks, and bulk items like nuts, cereals, and flour. Additionally, they also had a variety of vegan sweets and supplements. While the selection in the cooler and freezer section was somewhat limited, I was pleased to find a few vegan options, such as vegan frozen whip.

This restaurant review is actually for a small but well-stocked natural grocery store. It offers a wide variety of vegan items, including products like frozen foods and beauty products. Despite its size, the store has a very good selection of products in each category.

This place is fantastic. It feels like stepping back in time to when mom and pop shops were the only shops around. This quaint general store has all the modern amenities of today, but with a nostalgic old-world charm. They offer fresh local products, small batch items, fresh eggs from local sources, organic goods, and much more. My husband and I come here to purchase vitamins and other health products. They also have a great selection of natural body products like deodorant and shampoo. We love getting our local Alaska coffee here as well. You can grab a large bag of coffee to take home, or enjoy a farm-style mixed bowl or soup. Or simply indulge in some old-fashioned sweets and chat with the friendly staff. This is truly one of our favorite spots here on the Kenai Peninsula!

A large organic selection and the products are always at the top, not to mention the people who work there. they are nice people.
