Great food, welcoming staff, and dog friendly. We'll definitely be back again on our next visit to the Lake District.

Absolutely amazing little pub, super friendly and polite staff, lovely atmosphere, building is beautiful. Clean and tidy, shower is amazing, nice large baths and cosy rooms. Food is incredible and drinks are very quirky and delishous. Would 10/10 stay here again.

3 years of visiting this area we keep being told we MUST try the Hare Hounds. Finally did it OMG what a fabulous pub great delicious food, lovely atmosphere, friendly professional service....... Worth every penny. Can not find fault in anything. Thoroughly recommend 100
