The Lab /take-out - Kenilworth

I really appreciate that they serve two eggs with each bowl of short rib ramen. However, I wouldn't say the ramen itself is particularly delicious. The short rib isn't tender, and the broth has a slightly sour taste that I find off-putting. The overall flavor just doesn’t appeal to me. Additionally, some of the baby corn tasted sour, as if it had gone bad.

This place was fantastic! It was my first visit, and I can't wait to return. The mac and cheese sandwich could use a bit more cheese, since, you know, it's mac and cheese. The fries were soggy and a little too salty for my taste. However, the ramen was a knockout—so delicious and flavorful, plus they offer extra broth for a second serving, which was definitely the highlight of the night. I also loved that the lemonade wasn't overly sweet, which I appreciated. They have a great variety of options on the menu, and I'm looking forward to going back!

I regret not taking any photos, but I had the pleasure of trying the Crispy Chicken sandwich and The Jerk Dr. (which featured pulled jerk meat on a bun) this past week while the Lab catered for an event at my temporary workplace. I shared their card with some family members who live nearby and told my mom that we need to go there ourselves because the food was flavorful and satisfying.

We booked the Lab Food Truck for our baby shower and I have to say our experience was ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!! We reached out very last minute and G responded with a ?yes we can do it? without hesitation. Within the next week and half we worked out thedetails and they were very flexible with our schedule. They arrived 30 mins early to set up and right on time our guest began toorder. We had roughly 45 guests at the baby shower and I kid you not I heard compliments about the food from at least 25 of themwithin the first 15 mins. The portions were huge and the food was amazing! I personally had the Short Rib tacos and The Dr. asmy meal and I have to say for a southern boy that has had plenty of BBQ, that possibly could have been the best bbq sandwich Ihave ever had. My wife had the Bahn Mi and she was very impressed, even when she warmed up the rest later on that night. Theyalso had a vegan option on the menu so they cater to all. I could go on about the food, only good reviews from all guests but Ihave to say the service and hospitality was even better. If you are having ANY event this food truck is the way to go! I willalso add we had 3 trucks in mind for the event and they were the least expensive and had the bigger menu. I promise you won?tregret it.

I always pass this place and finally ordered through Grubhub for pickup. What drew me in was the unique choices on the menu and the VEGETARIAN OPTIONS! My order was hot when I picked it up (it was ready pretty quickly! and handed over to me by one of theowners, who was super sweet. The Jackfruit Melt that I ordered was DELICIOUS and flavorful, and the fries were amazing. I willdefinitely be coming back and ordering again, and recommending the spot to others!
