Great ambience and attentive service . Menu has a good diversity in selection. We’ll be making this a regular spot and heartily encourage anyone wanting a very pleasant experience, to try out Northern Union. The ambience is a clean and contemporary aesthetic and itself is worth a visit. Layer that with tasteful food and an unpretentious wine list for a special time.

Cannot get enough of this place! Yes, the portions are not what you get at, say, Outback Steakhouse. That’s because you are not going to a chain steakhouse. The food is delicious, the drinks are out of this world, the bartender will make you whateveryou want and suggest something you’ve never had before if you like. We had the same server as we did last year (Rob) andhe’s incredibly attentive, knowledgeable, there-when-you-need-him-and-not-when-you-don’t, and has a dry, sly sense of humor.Can’t wait to go back!

There’s no better place on the east coast than Northern Union. Tim, Colleen, owners Lauren Matt plus the entire staff make your meal an experience. The drinks food are made to perfection every time. Our first night in OGT is always at NorthernUnion. It’s the sort of place you fondly reminisce about as the winter months crawl on toward yet another season in Maine.

Lovely atmosphere and host was pleasant and accommodating. Our waiter was not overly pleasant or attentive. He barely came back to check on us. I do think he was a bit overworked, but still could have been more helpful. I would definitely come back as the food was quite good!!

Creative dining for the discriminating palate. Comfortable dining room. Extensive wine list with price points to fit every budget. Local honey ice cream is a sensory memory that I will talk about for years to come. Truly an amazing culinary experience.
