Little Chinatown - Kenner

The food here is consistently amazing. However, this time, the service was not up to par, which was surprising since they usually excel in that area. Our meals didn’t arrive all at once; we had to wait about 20 minutes for some items after the first plates were served. Additionally, we weren't offered any drink refills. Thankfully, the quality of the food more than compensated for the shortcomings in service!

The food was quite delicious, surpassing most of the other Chinese restaurants in Kenner. The staff was very attentive. However, the Pork Fried Rice could use a bit more seasoning and pork. We weren't fond of the sauce used in the Sweet and Sour dishes, as it tasted like a canned product. We plan to return and try other items on the menu. Overall, we had a pleasant lunch, and the prices are very reasonable as well.

Great Chinese food. So far, I have gone to this restaurant twice. Everything is served family style with generous portions. My wife had the Hong Kong wonton soup. That is her go-to Chinese meal, and she enjoyed it. One thing that she looks for is a thin wonton wrapper, and that is what this place uses. So far I have had the pork lo-mein, Hong Kong fried wonton, and congee with pork and fermented egg. I have loved every single meal, and am looking forward to checking out more menu items.

Best hot-sour soup ever. Garlic shrimp, tripe excellent. All ingredients taste fresh. Seasoned perfectly. Will return. Nothing better since San Francisco

This place is excellent. The place is clean, the staff is friendly, the service is fast, the food is excellent. I've tried the roast pork, the roast duck, the salt and pepper quail, and all of the soups. Never had I had a bad meal. If you want good food for an equitable price with great service then you should come here. I normally order food in or take-out once a week from this place.
