Burnt Hickory Brewery - Kennesaw

Very racist to my boyfriend, this place clearly pays people to make:write reviews. guys setting up for band with a “roland” company shirt told him he was going to play “black music” then laughed in my boyfriends face as it was a “joke”. do better. visit date was 3/18/24

Alice’s review below is a complete lie and fabrication. Alice did not have an ID when the staff carded her. The staff is always kind, knowledgeable and good conversationalists. The “band” is a single performer that has played here many times and locally around Atlanta. She is absolutely not making racist comments or spewing such hate. Alice is clearly a disgruntled person just upset that the staff did the right thing and asked to see an ID to confirm a legal drinking age.

I have not been to the physical brewery but I encountered Austin at a tasting and was seriously impressed by the stout and IPA. Impeccable service and great beers. What more can you ask for?

This is the best brewery in the area hands down. Great beers, they mostly do stouts but great sours too. Lemon one is amazing. Stouts are hight gravity beers. Its tiny, yes, and i wish they had food, but they have seating outside, inside and in the front. Fun place with a nice little creek on the back and a trail that is accesible if you want to walk/hike

My husband wrote the review below. Contrary to the bizarre claim made by another reviewer, he was not paid to write it. I can’t imagine why they would need to pay anyone to write reviews because it’s a great place with fantastic beers. We’re fortunate enough to live nearby and we frequently bond with our neighbors over how much we all love Burnt Hickory.
