You have to order and pay on your phone even if you come into the restaurant. We ordered mimosas and nobody noticed until we asked for them so in the end a human being needed to be given our order anyway (and the place was not very busy when we went . The brunch is $35 dollars and I added a tip so I thought the total at the bottom of my screen was the brunch and the tip but when we got home and checked, there is the brunch, the tip and additional $5-$8 service charge which we were not told about by the person who seated us and told us to use the app or the app itself before we hit pay. (Your order total with your tip and the service charge will only appear on your screen AFTER your card has been charged. It already seemed weird to be tipping when we had to order from an app and go to the buffet to get the food ourselves but I understand that restaurant workers earn a living on tips so I don’t mind adding them but to also add a hefty service charge (and we were a party of two, not a large group without clearly letting people know that this is the case is not honest business. If the service charge is for using the online ordering system, then that is even more ludicrous. If you don’t mind paying $50 for a single brunch (this was without the mimosas then you will enjoy this place. I had a great time when I ate here about a year ago and there was actual service which is why I recommended it to my friend but unfortunately this visit was hugely disappointing so I don’t think I will be recommending it anymore.
We were here for my husband’s birthday for dinner.Starting off with Cons: suggested online ordering which does not allow for modifying your meal, or substituting sides. Also automatic gratuity when ordered online. I do not tip in advance. I tip for great service received afterwards. We asked to order the old fashioned way, from the waitress. She did do a pretty good job but the restaurant was pretty empty. Then, we get our bill. Automatic gratuity. Are you kidding me? We were a party of six. Now, in reviewing other reviews, this is a common theme no matter your party size. I would have given a larger tip, but when a company decides my tip, that’s all you get.Pros: most of the food was decent. People enjoyed the shrimp and grits. My braised beef seemed like it’d been braisin’ for a few days. It was pretty dry. Korean shrimp was good. I believe it was the owners/managers that checked on us to ask us how things were but they didn’t identify themselves to our table. But it was nice that they asked.
This restaurant is fabulous my 2nd time here great food, great drinks, energy is amazing I can't wait to go
Just came for brunch. Didn’t eat ANYTHING. Was told the buffet was only available and no other items AFTER we scanned for menus. The menus were barely working on the phones, a service charge not clearly explained but automatically added. We looked at the Buffet before ordering and all the food looked old. The waitress said the food would keep rotating but we didn’t see any fresh rotations while we were there for two hours, we stayed to have a few drinks since we traveled but no ordered no food since it looked old and overpriced. We were not the only ones disappointed, a whole party came in, saw the menu and Buffett food, and left immediately. The waitress never even checked on us or asked if we wanted water when we sat down.I hope this business can improve later on and we can try again. Until then I’m not recommending it and would not come back anytime soon.
I had brunch and it was good the pork chops and eggs with potatoes was fulfilling and tasty. Great customer service and the place was a vibe.
