Publix Super Market At Orchard Square Shopping Center

The staff is amazing! If you can’t find something, they will personally show you to the aisle where it’s located. Truly excellent service!

The bakery and deli are excellent. The deli offers a much wider selection compared to the one on Wade Green Rd., and the staff is significantly friendlier as well.

Anne and the entire Deli Team are fantastic! They are not only skilled chefs—make sure to try the Philly Cheese sub—but they also truly care about delivering exceptional customer service. I give them a perfect 5 stars across the board, with an extra 5 stars specifically for Anne's Philly Cheese sub!

I like Publix. It’s the only place other that Whole Foods where I get my groceries. However this Publix location off Sandy Plains/Shallowford has a problem making bread. Every time I go to buy fresh bread specifically their mountain bread, it looks very dry, flaky and not made well. We typically shop at the Prado location off of Ernest Barrett Pkwy/Bells Ferry—they make the best fresh bread but we’ve recently relocated to this area. Not sure what’s going on with the baker at Shallowford but I hope they get a new one…soon.

Shaun at the deli counter is rude. He accused me and my mom of cutting in line when we didn’t (the other guy was standing super far back and trying to figure out what sandwich he wanted). Shaun made that man’s sandwich and when he said he wanted banana peppers on his sandwich he tried to talk him out of it because there weren’t any banana peppers stocked and he didn’t want to get any more. Also a cockroach was climbing up the wall behind him as this was happening. Very disappointing experience
