We have celebrated our anniversary with Catherine’s for over 20 years and have never been disappointed. Red Snapper Special was fabulous and I always got Cesar Salat there as it has a kick! They make all their deserts fresh.
Birthday. Meal was wonderful. Very few customers due to Covid 19 terrifying but pleasant time. Not crazy about the 10 dollar cork fee, as I robbed the tip of our bottle of wine and left the wine glasses in perfect condition. Come on!
Staff is super friendly and knowledgeable. Food is really right at the top, and we dine out several times a week (we’re super busy at work). We spent $150 (Including 20% tip) for two salads two entrées and two desserts and coffee. I honestly don’t mind spending the money when the food is this good.
My husband’s salad was good and his dinner very good. I had the special which had a terrible arugula “pesto” on delightful red snapper. I scraped it off. There were a few green beans covered in some oil and laid on a starchy mash. I ate the green beans although I avoid seed/vegetable oils as a rule. My husband like the starch but I thought it was ineatable. It’s BYOB which is fine but a $10 cork fee per table is much too high, especially since there wasn’t a waiter hovering to refill glasses or open new bottles. The highlight for me was an excellent slice of cheesecake. I have a favorite recipe and so rarely order it out. This was almost as good as my own and some would prefer it since it was creamier.
