However, I was disappointed by the lack of knowledge about the drink I ordered, a simple rum and coke. The waitress was very attentive, although she used the word "perfect" a little too much, and she specifically asked how my wife and I liked our drinks. I honestly told her that there was not enough rum and the coke was flat. She inquired about the flat coke and said she would check it. The rum portion seemed small, probably less than half an ounce, and the coke was indeed flat. I drank about half of the drink before leaving the rest. Even though she asked about it, she never offered to refresh the drink or remove it from our bill. It was never mentioned again, despite the fact that I had mentioned it in a comment. I assume she checked it and confirmed it was lacking in rum and flat. That was the end of it. The drink was still on the bill, and we left (and won't be returning).
The service at this restaurant was incredibly welcoming and friendly. While the menu was somewhat limited and the food was only average, the overall experience was still worth the trip.
We recently stayed at this hotel for two nights for my sister's wedding. We had both the ceremony and reception there. The food was good, the rooms were clean, and the staff was very friendly. With about 100 guests in attendance, I think the hotel was fantastic. The views of the water were lovely and it was conveniently located near attractions. Overall, it was a great experience and I would definitely stay here again.
Stanley Bridge Resort was very nice. There are no elevators in the Inn so be prepared when you are on the 3. Floor as we were. The view amazing the bed was very comfortable. The only complaint is that it should be a fan overhead in the bedroom part as the air conditioning was in the living room, we had to cold it all the time to have the bedroom part cool at night. The staff was very nice. We drove through saw the cottages hotel, which would be another option for us next time. Gift shop near restaurant on site. Food was good, but menu limited. The resort was not far from Cavendish Boardwalk. In any case, would go back!
Four of us were looking for a place to eat and saw the sign, Live Music . Turns out the music was good and the food was great. Lots of local craft beers, good menu selection and nice atmosphere.
