Benchmark Pizzeria - Kensington

The crispy sage pizza and the salami calabrian pizzas are to die for. The Caesar Salad was one of the best I’ve had, plenty of cheese and dressing evenly distributed. Top notch service.

I would choose the fried sage pizza and Caesar salad as my last meal.

We thoroughly enjoyed the carrot salad !! fabulous ingredients) and pizzas — everything fresh well prepared. Service was attentive and since we came midday on a week day, we had plenty of seating to choose from. Looking forward to returning some day.

We told our waiter we planned to share everything we ordered. Despite this, no serving implements appeared with any of our dishes. The server vanished immediately after plunking each dish on the table and never glanced our way again, forcing us to get up from our table and go on a search.

I love Benchmark pizza. Sometimes, when it's busy I feel like the pizza is rushed out of the oven when it could use a minute more. The service is slower when it's busy but that's not unreasonable. Overall I really enjoy this neighborhood pizza place. It's quality food.
