The background music is not overpowering, and the restaurant is situated on a side street only 3 minutes away from both Morden Hall Park and the underground/buses, making it a quiet and peaceful setting with minimal traffic noise.
This restaurant is the best option for a quick meal within walking distance, especially if you've just gotten off the nearby tube train. It has an Italian theme with plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. They offer a variety of savory and sweet snacks, as well as a wide selection of tea and coffee. The staff is friendly and welcoming, and it's conveniently located near the Morden Hall local council. The atmosphere is clean and comfortable, perfect for a relaxing chat with friends. However, the seating arrangements are a bit crowded, so it may not be ideal for large groups.
I had been searching for a great spot to have breakfast in Morden for a while, but couldn't find one until I stumbled upon this restaurant. I tried the eggs Benedict and paninis, and they were of excellent quality and taste. The owner was also very friendly and attentive to the customers. It may be a small place, but it has everything you need for a delightful breakfast.
Morden doesn't really have any nice places to eat or chill, as such. But my friend told me about this place that was tucked away from the main hustle and bustle of Morden High Street. It is a lovely cafe and actually quite huge inside. Comfy leather sofa's to relax onto if one wants to take it easy, and normal tables to eat at, if you're in a rush. It serves halal food which is great! They have so much on the menu, it's hard to choose what to order. The prices are extremely reasonable too, which is even more of a temptation to visit regularly. The owners are very welcoming and friendly. Service was great, food fab too. I had the Eggs Royal, my friend had the English Breakfast. I would definitely recommend to others and would go again for sure. Very peaceful, you can actually have a conversation, not like other places where music is blaring out constantly.
Caffe D'Oro is located a short walk from Morden tube station in a quiet side road, no noisy traffic here. The 2 owners are passionate about the food and coffee. Early morning you can listen to quiet background music, or if its sunny sit outside in the sun reading a free newspaper, close your eyes and you could be anywhere in Europe. Lunchtime is busy but always space, and no one rushes you, 10 minutes or 2 hours makes no difference. A true taste of Morocco in South London. Tell your feinds I do.
