Chakra - Kensington and Chelsea

Maybe it was just the mood I was in. But I felt disappointed with this restaurant. I pictured it as a sort of spiritual sanctuary in the middle of yoga land, with beautiful food to match. But had pretty standard Biryani and warm RasMalai dessert. Waiters were also hard to find when you needed them.

I ordered daal chakra which wasn’t cooked properly.. butter chicken had no taste as if they mixed salt in tomato purée…overall pathetic food…being Indian I could figure out the standards of recipes

Very nice restaurant with wonderful food and polite staff. The food is interesting and very tasty. They prepared it quickly and we were all happy with the taste. The staff were very nice and polite. You can pay cash,which I think is a great advantage. I will definitely come back here!

The food was excellent. The service was excellent. Some of the best Indian food that I've had. I would highly recommend this restaurant.

Lovely neighborhood spot with wonderful food. The samosa was so good, the wine was nice but a little pricey, and the curry was delicious. Recommend this place!
