Chelsea Potter - Kensington and Chelsea

I was disappointed with my experience at this pub. While the staff were friendly, the overall experience fell short. The prices were high, which is understandable given the location in Sloane Square, but I still expected better value for the money. The food was average and nothing stood out as exceptional. The decor was pleasant, but unfortunately the toilets were not well-maintained and had a strong odor. I will not be returning to this establishment.

I would have given this restaurant zero stars if I could. The food was terrible, and I saw the staff outside laughing. I understand they need a break, but leaving the bar unattended is unacceptable. One young lady even thought she was a customer and started taking pictures of her drink on the table, mistaking her for bar staff. Disappointing experience overall, as my steak and ale pie had fatty meat and the mashed potatoes tasted processed.

I stopped by on my way to see The Rolling Stones at Hyde Park. I had the best burger meal I have had in years. It was extremely enjoyable and I believe it was handmade.

Good selection of beer, 2 large TV screens. Food ordered at the bar with outdoor seating. No disabled toilets, toilets downstairs Traditional style pub with a lot of charm. Had the chicken wings.

Ugh. Brought friends from the states here for a quick and good pub lunch. Wrong on both counts. I read previous reviews about a grumpy barman, but thought, “That couldn’t be true every day, could it?” Turns out, it could. Might even go with “angry” barman. No worries food will fix everything! But no. Burnt cheese toasties and dry chicken sandwich. At least the chips were hot? Save yourself the trouble and grief. Eat elsewhere. London has too many good pubs to waste your time here.
